Ramos Pinto Tasting Notes
The wine is a rich tawny color and has a round generous nose with orange, apricot, and plum aromas rounded out by vanilla scents from old Port aging casks. The attack in the mouth is smooth and full-bodied with fruity flavors juxtaposed with rich oak that is well-balanced. This Tawny offers all the maturity of an aged wine while still displaying a youthful vigor.

Wine Enthusiast
This wine comes from a wildly remote vineyard high in the Upper Douro. It is a fine, balanced wine, packed with acidity to balance the sweetness. It's relatively soft and gentle, with good, fresh flavors of figs. —Roger Voss, 89 points
