Quinta Do Noval Tasting Notes
Over the past 15 years, Quinta do Noval has undertaken a massive replanting program in its spectacular vineyards, perched high above the River Douro, and concentrating on the great noble varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cao among others. Now those new vines are coming on stream, with a wealth of superb vibrant fruit every harvest from which to make the selection for the distinctive fresh and smooth.
Noval Black blend. Noval Black is aged for two years in wood before bottling. Made from top quality traditional Douro grape varieties, it has rich fruit, a fine bouquet and a delicate palate.

Wine Spectator
Shows beautiful aromas of sliced plum and peach, with raspberry jam. Medium-bodied and lightly sweet, with fine tannins and a fruity finish. Refined and pretty. This is a new Port from Noval that is supposed to attract new consumers and please old ones. Might work. Drink now. 88 points
