Le Petit Mouton de Mouton-Rothschild Tasting Notes
Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild, the second wine of Chateau Mouton Rothschild, has been produced since 1993. It is generally made from a selection of the youngest vines of the illustrious First Growth and harvested, vinified and bottled with the same painstaking care. Everything is done to ensure that the wine expresses the elegance and depth of a great Pauillac. The number of bottles produced, no more than a few thousand cases, and the proportions of the different grape varieties vary according to the characteristics of each vintage.

Wine Spectator
A supple red, with charming cherry and plum perfume notes. There's good focus to the cassis and blackberry fruit, which is backed by a stylish finish. 91 points

Mouton Rothschild's second wine is showing increasing stature. This vintage shows spice, new wood and Mouton's signature acidity. It has a soft, rounded texture, with a plump, warm feel.
