The 2010 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands shows lovely inner palate sweetness and freshness in its sweet cherries, flowers, spices, all of which come together beautifully in a fleshy, generous style. The Santa Lucia Highlands bottling is made from parcels in Rosella’s, Pisoni, Garys’ and Sierra Mar. It is a blend of lower-rated barrels within the Siduri cellar. As can sometimes happen, the blend is greater than the sum of its parts. This is a stunning California Pinot for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2018.
