Mollydooker Tasting Notes
This gorgeous Verdelho is the only white we make. The aromatics virtually leap out of the glass! It has a lovely, creamy texture, great acidity and long, persistent flavours of honeysuckle, pineapple and citrus. Pairs with ripe, rich and balanced so it pairs incredibly well with just about any seafood, as well as simply grilled chicken and fresh summer vegetables. A nice snapper with fresh pineapple salsa or shrimp ceviche is yummy. We also love it with soft, ripe cheeses, nuts and dried stone fruit.

A weighty, extracted style, with vibrant greengage plum and spice flavors, lingering on the slightly tart finish. Drink now. 87 points

Wine Advocate
The current Mollydooker collection begins with the one white wine, the medium straw-colored 2009 Verdelho The Violinist. It was partially barrel-fermented and aged on its lees in barrel and tank. It gives up fragrant aromas of toast, baked apple, mango, and other tropical aromas. Creamy textured, round, ripe, and concentrated, this long, tasty wine can be enjoyed over the next 2 years. —Jay Miller, 90 points
