Keever Vineyards Tasting Notes
Unmistakably from the Keever Vineyards Estate, this intensely aromatic 100% Cabernet Sauvignon abounds with blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, and spiced plums. A touch of baking spices and a tiny hint of anise also come forward in the aromas. Full-bodied and plush at entry, the texture is consistently generous and satiny throughout the palate impression, with a sweet dark cherry/blackberry juice flavor and freshness as the lingering impression. This very ripe yet fresh Cabernet shows a lovely combination of power and elegance from start to finish.

Wine Advocate
There are 500 cases of the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon (again 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyards in Yountville). Slightly denser, more structured, tannic and backward than the 2007, it is a full-bodied effort with notes of black currants, heady glycerin levels, and more toasty oak in the background (even though the percentage of new French oak used is essentially the same in each cuvee). The 2008 requires patience as 2-3 years of cellaring will be beneficial. It should drink well over the following 15 or more years. —Robert Parker, 91 points
