The firmly structured, tightly woven palate intrigues with hints of ripe black blackberry, plum and bergamot enhanced by subtle overtones of vanillin. Balanced acidity accompanies prominent, fine-grained tannins over a lasting finish.

Young, fiery and rugged on the nose, but with exotic notes that suggest Middle Eastern and Asian herbs and spices. Like all Cobos Malbecs, this is big, chewy, brawny and a touch medicinal, with powerful dark fruit flavors, particularly black cherry, and a good deal of licorice, chocolate and overall richness.
