Duckhorn Tasting Notes
The product of a near-perfect growing season, this is one of the most complex and mouthfilling renditions of our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to date. Blended to showcase the rich diversity of great Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, it brings together grapes from some of the valley's most acclaimed winegrowing appellations and includes a mix of mountain and valley floor fruit. Aromas of ripe currant, spearmint, marzipan and tobacco lead to intense flavors of blackberry and black cherry, all supported by a subtle framework of French oak, which adds nuance, depth and dimension to the finish.

Wine Spectator
Firm, rich, intense and layered, with loamy earth and herb-laced currant, blackberry, mineral and cedar flavors. Full-bodied, tight and focused, an impressive young wine that needs aeration. Drink now through 2021. —James Laube, 90 points

Wine Enthusiast
A tremendous Cabernet, one of the last to come from the great 2007 vintage. Drinking perfectly now, it's a soft, smooth sipper, with lush flavors of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, cocoa and cedar. The addition of Merlot brings a soft, mellowed mouthfeel. Picking up bottle bouquet at the age of four, it will continue to gain traction for many years. —Steve Heimoff, 95 points
