Bedell Cellars Tasting Notes
This is the second vintage of Gallery. This is a special production - our finest wine, from our finest vineyards. Gallery is only produced with the very best grapes of this vintage. It is constructed of 69% Chardonnay, 19% Viognier and 12% Sauvignon Blanc from our Corey Creek and Bedell Estate Vineyards. The finished wine is extraordinarily complex and compelling. Aromatically it is redolent of apricot, white plum, green apple, gooseberry, light toast, vanilla, minerals and lightly fragrant white flowers. With aeration, the nose changes and gains every few minutes and provides a fascinating study in the aromatics of these white grapes?moving more towards a tightly wound tropical array of fruits. The wine is richly textured, and especially full in the mid-palate and mouth-filling, with a full-body and lovely, very long and balanced finish. Gallery is well balanced
