Wine Spectator
Reminiscent of Chevalier-Montrachet for its creamy texture and lime blossom and hazelnut aromas and flavors. This is delicate, with a refined, lively structure, excellent balance and a lingering aftertaste. Drink now through 2018. 91 points

Wine Enthusiast
A superb wine. It opens slowly in the mouth, revealing layers of toast followed by intense white and green fruits. Spice and nutmeg accent the kiwi, pepper and pineapple notes, all concentrated around a core of minerality. Age for at least four years. 94 points

International Wine Cellar
Bright yellow. Pineapple and honey on the nose and palate. A fleshy, rich fruit bomb in a distinctly fat, broad style. The pineapple flavor is firmed on the end by a citric quality but today this wine comes across as rather unrefined for a Leflaive premier cru. Made from big berries and well-aerated clusters, noted winemaker Remy, who said the pH of 3.3 was the highest among the 2009s.
