Moffett Tasting Notes
Dark as night when poured into the glass. The aromas are soft, but rich with black berries, currants and a hint of mocha. On the palate, the wine delivers on many different levels: the fruit is rich and juicy with deep dark fruit flavors of Marion berries, black cherries and plum, as the fruit softens your palate starts to get the full character of the wine with its great balance of toasted oak and acidity. The finish is long, juicy and full of mouth watering fruit.

Wine Enthusiast
Marked by youthful tannins and a fruity-oaky combination that needs time to knit together, this Cab is worth a few years in the cellar. Made from St. Helena and Yountville grapes, with a splash of Cabernet Franc, it's lush in black and red currants, cherries, milk chocolate and cedar flavors, and finishes dry and long. —Steve Heimoff, 92 points
