Château Meyney Tasting Notes
Cabernet sauvignon finds ideal maturing conditions in these well-drained gravel soils. Blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it produces a wine that is full-bodied, well-rounded and structured. Its making and maturing is painstaking. When fully ready it shows the unique charm of the best Saint Estephe wines: complex, well-balanced and harmonious.

Wine Spectator
Lots of blackberry aromas, with hints of cedar, follow through to a full-bodied palate. A chunky wine, with velvety tannins and a long finish. Needs time. Very well done for the vintage. Best after 2010. —James Suckling, 95 points
