Archery Summit Tasting Notes
This wine opens with perfumed and inviting aromas of black plum, black cherry, cigar box and rose petals. There is a seductive earthiness on the mid-palate penetrated by brooding notes red currant and dark chocolate. The wine is supple, focused and satisfying. Well structured, the depths of flavor finish long, leaving hints of spice cake, dark fruits and cedar. The 2004 Archery Summit Estate Pinot Noir is a wine with penetrating purity and focus for serious collectors, and with proper cellaring may be enjoyed for the next 8-12 years.

Fine in texture, with bright, violet-tinged currant, cherry and coffee flavors that linger nicely against a soft bed of tannins. Has complexity and refinement. Best from 2009 through 2014.
