The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz (60% and 40% respectively) is fashioned from vines averaging 54 years, and is aged in equal parts new French and used American oak. A big, chocolatey, black currant-scented bouquet is followed by an opulent, powerful, pure, rich red with sweet tannin, a full-throttle texture, and a long finish.
