Wine Advocate
The 2002 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard reveals raspberry and blue fruits, a medium ruby color, good purity and texture, moderate tannin, and a soft, surprisingly approachable style for Calera. It can be drunk now or cellared for a decade.

Wine Enthusiast
The vintage was a very good one for Calera, offering the heat needed for ripeness but the cool nights for acidity. Mills is a ripe, delicious wine with blackberry, cherry, cola, mint and spice flavors resting on a complex, multi-layered palate that finishes firm and dry. Supple now, it should drink well for ten years.
