Paul Jaboulet Aîné Tasting Notes
Very dark and deep color. Intense, complex, slightly wooded nose, very rich, with hints of spice and very ripe wild berries. Exceptionally full in the palate, thanks to an impressive and superbly well rounded structure. Powerful, generous and plump, yet with great delicacy. It tastes remarkable at every stage in its life, from 2 to 50 years.

Wine Spectator
Very aromatic, refined and intriguing. A medium-bodied wine that opens up with crisp, citrusy notes that are a bit sour, then delivers freshly crushed red berries, dried herbs and cassis in a rather narrow range. Not much seduction here, but there is a mineral, iron, wet earth and terroir quality that is unmistakably unique and keeps you coming back for more. Cellar for years. Best from 2005 through 2015. 6,330 cases made. 97 points
