Krug Tasting Notes
The 1995 vintage Krug shows today its immense potential, with a smoky, lemony fruit character and hints of brioche, mineral, ripe white fruits and honey. On the palate the wine is majesterial and full, while retaining crisp acidity and vibrant length. A very rich and luxurious Krug.

Wine Spectator
A very youthful '95. Delicate. Intense aromas of ginger, citrus, candied berry and multigrain bread turn to honey, roasted almonds and graphite on the palate. It's all underscored by a precise structure and creamy texture. Its structure keeps it persistent through the long finish. A picture of precision and intensity. Drink now through 2025. —Bruce Sanderson, 98 points

Wine Advocate
The 1995 Vintage provides a fascinating contrast to the 1996. This is a tightly wound, sinewy Champagne loaded with brioche, toasted oak, lemon rind, flowers and minerals. The mousse is extremely fine and the style decidedly more linear and fresh than the 1996. Though deceptively medium-bodied in style, the wine appears to be built for extended cellaring.. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025. —Antonio Galloni, 95 points

Wine Enthusiast
A mature, honeyed nose shows how rich and open this beautiful wine is. It is rich and toasty, with layers of citrus and very ripe, almost honeyed, fruit. It is lively and fresh, with excellent structure. Ready to drink. —Roger Voss, 96 points
