A very consistent vineyard, which always has very dark colour and black plum fruit with a gamey, leathery background. This has more to do with Cornas or Hermitage. more
This excellent structured, deep colored 2002 Shiraz has youthful tints, charry briarwood, clove and red cherry aromas. Background oak and some vanillin are also evident. The palate is initially soft followed by red berry and spice flavors, finishing with earthy, briary, savory characters and grape/oak tannins.
