 Château Gruaud Larose Saint Julien 2004
Château Gruaud Larose The wine is full bodied, but elegant with lots of fruit when young. The wine ages very well and develops all the characteristics of a great Bordeaux. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, and aged in oak barrels for 20-22 months, renewed annually in thirds. Wine Spectator Plummy aromas, with leaf and tobacco undertones. Medium-bodied, with soft, silky tannins and a medium finish. Balanced and delightful already, yet needs a little more concentration to be outstanding. Best after 2010.
